Webplay Recording Date : 1-25-2012

Webinar Overview:

October 24, 2011, The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) published proposed changes for hospitals. This is one of the major revisions in more than two decades. They were written to comply with the President’s mandate to reduce the regulatory burden placed on hospitals. The Obama administration and CMS believes this will save billions of dollars for the healthcare system. Of course, hospitals would need to rewrite many of their policies and procedures, medical staff by-laws, and other documents to ensure compliance. Staff would need to be educated on the new requirements so changes could be made to ensure compliance with the new proposed changes.
